Hello! I'm Sakina, a designer and illustrator from India.

Growing up, I was always the soft-spoken one, naturally gravitating towards art as way of self-expression. After school, I sought to pursue architecture, thinking it was the more logical path given my strengths, but something felt amiss. It wasn't until I chanced upon design that everything fell into place. Studying at the United World Institute of Design in Ahmedabad marked a pivotal moment—here, my passion for problem-solving intertwined with my love for visual storytelling.

In this ongoing quest to find my place in the world, visual expression is my voice. My driving force remains anchored in the desire to connect, communicate, and utilise these tools to help amplify the voices of others that often go unheard.

"‘What do you want to be when you grow up?' ‘Kind,’ said the boy."
